Do you offer free estimates?
Yes, all first time appointments are free of charge. We collaborate with the potential client on the theme, colors and size of the mural and produce a rough estimate for the artwork. No payments are due until a contract is signed.
How much does a mural cost?
Cost of a mural or any other type of artwork depends on the size, surface, and detail of the work performed. A project contract will include all cost breakdowns for the work. Generally, murals cost anywhere from $5 to $35 a square foot, depending on the above specifications.
Can artwork be painted on any surface?
Yes, any type of surface can be painted. Many of our projects are on drywall or on moveable art mediums such as linen canvas, linoleum and wood. Many types of paints are available so any wall is possible.
How long does it take to paint a mural?
Depending on the size, surface, and detail, painting can take anywhere from one day to several months. We strive to produce a quality product within a reasonable amount of time but no project is rushed.
Does Art for the Wall work in other locations besides Charleston, SC?
Art for the Wall will travel; travel expenses are included in the contract. We prefer to have at least two jobs lined up in the project area but we are flexible.
